| Overall feelings about the race: I couldn't be happier with how the race went. To put myself in a position to compete with the top runners in the United States was extremely gratifying. The end result of course could have only be one place better, so a runner-up finish is something i can cherish the rest of my life. |

| Best part of the race: Going out at the start and putting myself in the front pack was something that surprised me. When I was feeling that great at the beginning I knew it would be a special day. Along with the start, the finish was incredible just the feeling of my last high school cross country race...it was awesome! |
