Overall feelings about the race: My race didn't go as well as I had planned. This was my 7th race in a row and I'm glad to have finished my senior year running Footlocker. I really didn't know what to expect coming in this race due to a rough past week of training and the fatigue built on from these last 7 big meets.
Best part of the race:  I really did not have a best part. I felt really fatigued and didn't feel near as strong as I have in the past. It was a great race/course but personally I had a tough time running.
The FLCC Experience:  This has been a great key experiance for me. I definitly feel like this meet is a stepping stone to greater feats. I dreamed of coming here since I watched this race on t.v as a freshman and when I qualified at footlocker south I constantly kept telling myself throughout the week " I made It!!" Everythings falling in place for a great future and I'm very fortunate to have had the oppurtunity to experiance Footlocker.

Personal note:  I would like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this year. My family is the backbone of my success, they are always encouraging me and bringing me back up when I'm down. My friends are great and I like to also thank them for believing in me and always keeping me up on my toes and working hard. I would like to send a special thanks to Alex luna who has continued training with me for these last few weeks to help me prepare, the Mississippi State XC team and coaches for treating me as family and pumping me up for my future, and my mom and dad/coach for always being there for me. I would like to dedicate my season to my nana, Diane Turner, who had recently been diagnosed with leukemia. She has been a true inspiration throughout my season and will always be a hero of mine! Thanks and god bless all!
