Overall feelings about the race: My race did not go as well as I had hoped it would. I wanted to finish in a higher place but I enjoyed the experience and learned from the race.
Best part of the race:
The best part of my race was being able to run with/race against the best 40 cross country runners in the country. To be in a pack with them at the beginning and running with them in general was very exciting.
The FLCC Experience: My footlocker experience has been a blast! I am so grateful for being able to come out to California and meet new people and compete in the most competitive of a race that there is. Also it was really cool to meet professional runners and to hear what they have to say about the sport.
