San Diego, Calif., December 7, 2009– South Regional finalist Parker Stinson of Austin, Texas has withdrawn from the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships and filling the spot will be Anderson (Travis) Barclay, a junior from Fair Oaks Ranch,Texas.

      The Foot Locker Cross Country Championships is comprised of four regional 5K races across the country.  The Midwest (Kenosha, Wis.), South (Charlotte, N.C.), and Northeast (Kings Park, N.Y.) regional races were held on Nov.28.  The West Regional (Walnut, Calif.) was a week later on Saturday, Dec.5.  More than 10,000 of the nation’s leading high school runners competed in the regional meets.

      The top ten finishers from each seeded regional race qualified for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships this Saturday, December 12 at Morley Field, Balboa Park in San Diego, Calif. and will join the likes of Olympians Ryan Hall, Kara Goucher and American record-holder, Alan Webb.
